SCHEDULE of ACTIVITIES

On May 26 Johannah Leake, Robert zumBrunnen, John Roution, Jr. and Bonnie
Roution participating in placing flags on the graves at the Lebanon National
Cemetery for the Memorial Day Service. While there they visited the graves of our
church members: Sam Deacon, Hollis Evans, Pleas Begley, Douglas and Agatha
Bell and their daughter Leann Bell, Robert and Frances Roution. If there are others
please let us know. This project was very rewarding and we hope to have all the
youth there next year.

The flags are placed mostly by the Scouts ages 7-18 and a few church groups.
And thanks to Kevin and Noah Leake - next year will be much easier since they got
metal poles to use for the holes.

The Order of the Cross has registered to receive
funds from GoodSearch. Every time you do a

Group earns about a penny. If enough of us use
the search tool, we can earn our Youth Group a
substantial paycheck over time.

2nd - Meeting (Leake's lunch)

16th - 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Christmas Party with games and prizes and pizza
provided. Then at 5:30 PM Church Christmas Dinner-Youth help with
Children's play and also do readings.

21st - 12:00 to 3:00 PM Mission Miracle on Market Street in Louisville. Escort
Mothers and wrap gifts for them. Also stocking their store as needed.

30th - Deliver food to CSS / report on Hunger Mission

20th - Meeting & Fellowship Dinner

25th - Annual Mid- Kentucky Presbytery Lock - in Walnut Street

31st - Deliver food to CSS / report on Hunger Mission

Our mission focus currently is world hunger. But to bring the focus
to a local level and something we can actually be involved in, The
Order of the Cross will be conducting a food drive as on an going
mission project this year. All collected food and money will be
reported and delivered to the Community Service Center (CSS) by
our youth group. Each youth shall be responsible for a different
month.

Another focus is making our group grow in numbers and inviting
friends to help us with our mission projects and have some fun
along the way! If you are interested in joining us, please call the
church or click our email link at the bottom of the page! And you can
always just show up for Worship any Sunday at 11:00 AM or to our
meeting just following Worship!
