A former church member and artist, Wallace Kelly, has had
a film he made about Lebanon in the 1940's archived in the
Library of Congress.  This is quite an honor for the Kelly
Family, for Lebanon, and for our church, as Mr. Kelly was
the artist who drew the sketch of UPC that has graced our
bulletins and letterhead for decades!

Leanna Begley found out what it was like to be in a
disaster!  She played the role of the ‘prom corpse’ who
crashed through the front windshield while riding with a
drunk driver in a drill recently!  This ‘mock crash’ was
sponsored by the Youth Advisory Council to promote
safety during Prom Season. Thanks to Leanna for
volunteering for such an important cause!
UPC's Little League Baseball team has been winning games
and recently, Conner Higdon had a homerun and a triple!  In
another game, he had a grand slam and a near home run.
Andrea Patton had an exciting time
when Hillary Clinton came to
Kentucky.  Andrea met Mrs. Clinton
and got her autograph!
Linda Begley will be retiring at the end of this school year!
Linda has been a good and faithful servant to God and the
children of Marion County!  She will be greatly missed at
Lebanon Middle School!  Thank you, Linda and enjoy your
fun-time!   You've earned it!
Laurie Heckel, through hard work and perseverance, has
obtained her Bachelors Degree in Nursing.  Laurie has done
most of this work by computer - all while traveling around the
country, and making A's all the way through!  She had many
obstacles to overcome including very poor internet connections
in some parts of the country!  We congratulate her and hope
she can now enjoy more free time while traveling!
Congratulations to Travis Begley on his promotion to
Detective with the Campbellsville City Police Department.
