| John Roution Jr. completed his requirements for the rank of Star. John is a member of Boy Scout Troop 90. John Roution Sr. and John Roution Jr. completed their ordeal at Camp Crooked Creek becoming Brothers in Talligewi Lodge #62 Order of The Arrow. Congratulations to the TWO John Routions! |
| On December 15, 2007 Kevin Leake, Jr. had the honor of placing wreaths at the Lebanon National Cemetery. This was part of Wreaths Across America, which starts at Arlington National Cemetery and moves across the United States. The Church Mouse has prepared a Special Report here. |



| A former church member and artist, Wallace Kelly, has had a film he made about Lebanon in the 1940's archived in the Library of Congress. This is quite an honor for the Kelly Family, for Lebanon, and for our church, as Mr. Kelly was the artist who drew the sketch of UPC that has graced our bulletins and letterhead for decades! |



| Rev. Murray participated as an auctioneer Saturday, April 28th at an auction on Linda Avenue, here in Lebanon. Murray is working toward his licence as an auctioneer and that put him one step closer! |
| Ellen Kessler will be going on a mission trip to Nicaragua from June 14-27 with the group from Go International. Please pray for her safe trip and return |

| Leanna Begley found out what it was like to be in a disaster! She played the role of the ‘prom corpse’ who crashed through the front windshield while riding with a drunk driver in a drill recently! This ‘mock crash’ was sponsored by the Youth Advisory Council to promote safety during Prom Season. Thanks to Leanna for volunteering for such an important cause! |

| UPC's Little League Baseball team has been winning games and recently, Conner Higdon had a homerun and a triple! In another game, he had a grand slam and a near home run. |

| Andrea Patton had an exciting time when Hillary Clinton came to Kentucky. Andrea met Mrs. Clinton and got her autograph! |


| Linda Begley will be retiring at the end of this school year! Linda has been a good and faithful servant to God and the children of Marion County! She will be greatly missed at Lebanon Middle School! Thank you, Linda and enjoy your fun-time! You've earned it! |

| Laurie Heckel, through hard work and perseverance, has obtained her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Laurie has done most of this work by computer - all while traveling around the country, and making A's all the way through! She had many obstacles to overcome including very poor internet connections in some parts of the country! We congratulate her and hope she can now enjoy more free time while traveling! |

CONNER ZINK would like you to know that his little sister, KATIE NICOLE ZINK has arrived! Katie was born on September 25th at 3:28 AM. She weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces and she was 20 inches long, all the while being a bit early! The proud parents are Emily & Philip Zink! Grandparents are Barb & Phil Zink and Mary Anne & Jim May! With one very proud aunt, Jessica Zink! Blessings to the entire extended family and WELCOME KATIE!!!!!!!! |

TATE DAVID SHARPE would like to announce the arrival of his baby sister. ANNA BETH SHARPE was born on September 30, 2008 at 2:54 P.M. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 1/2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Proud parents are Woody and Traci Sharpe. Proud Grandparents are David & Janet Sharpe, Margaret & Keith Blackwell, and Shelton & Julie Young. Thanks for sharing our joy! |

| Shelton Young and John Grundy have come in 2nd overall in the Mid-Kentucky Bass Anglers Tournament Season. They still have the Classic yet to go on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, October 18th - 19th! Good luck!!!! |








| Johannah Leake has been one of a few chosen to participate in the Girl Scouts Fun in the Sun in San Diego, CA. Luckily for Johannah, it is in June and she should be healed from her leg fracture by then!!! Congratualtions Johannah!!!! |
