The Order of the Cross, the High School Youth Group, has registered to receive funds from GoodSearch. Every time you do a routine web search at GoodSearch, our Youth Group earns a penny. If enough of us use the search tool, we can earn our Youth Group a substantial paycheck over time. A link to Good Search has been added to the UPC homepage. Click there, or anytime you see either of the links to the right, and then do a web search as you would from any other search engine! You can also add the GoodSearch Toolbar to your Internet Explorer Bar by clicking that link at the GoodSearch HomePage. Or add the GoodSearch site to your favorites or bookmarks. GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo, so your results should be great!

Our next Fellowship will be held during the Sunday School hour on Sunday, April 12th for breakfast with Julie Young and Nancye Brady in charge. We will decorate the flower cross while the children of the church hunt eggs. Hopefully some of you will volunteer to help them to set up on Saturday. Also if any of our members have any extra plastic or stainless wear they will give to the church, we hope to keep them in the kitchen eliminating the constant opening up of the pantry for an odd piece or two of our good silver.
MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE On April 16th, First Presbyterian, 209 North 2nd Street in Bardstown, will host an area service for Maundy Thursday. It will begin at 7:30 P.M Rev. McCandless will be giving the message.

RECYCLING The church will be collecting and recycling aluminum cans to raise money for kitchen funds. You can also collect cans at home or work and drop them behind the fence at the church. Ed Heckel has volunteered to take any collected cans to the recycling center weekly.
SUGGESTION BOX The Session has placed a suggestion box, wrapped in copper color, in the narthex. Considering the need for growth in all aspects of our church, they would like to hear any ideas/suggestions the congregation may have for fundraising, mission, Christian education, etc., etc. They ask that the ideas/suggestions NOT be anonymous, only because if they have questions they can refer back to that person for discussion. It has been agreed upon that any suggestions left in the box will be privately discussed.
